Cyclone Felicia brought strong winds and downpours to the Kaliningrad region on October 9. By noon on October 10, the wind subsided, there were no serious destructions in Amber.
During the storm, the power line was cut off, but experts quickly restored the power supply. They also removed a tree that had fallen near the church. In the park named after Maurice Becker continue to collect broken branches, and the observation deck is closed to visitors.
Since October 9, operational services have been working in enhanced mode and monitoring the situation. On the beach, the storm left a large amount of debris along the coastline, so local authorities asked volunteers to join the cleanup.
