In the Zaporozhye region until the end of the day on October 11 and throughout October 12, a high fire hazard of the fourth class is expected. The warning applies to the eastern, western and southwestern regions of the region, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported, citing data from the North Caucasus Department for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring.
In the east of the region, unfavorable conditions are predicted in the Pologov, Chernihiv and Kuibyshev districts. In the west, the warning operates in Energodar, Kamensk-Dneprovsky, Vasilievsk, Mikhailovsky and Tokmak districts.
High fire risk is also expected in Melitopol, Melitopol, Veselov, Akimov and Priazov districts.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that during the period of the special fire-fighting regime, it is forbidden to make fires, burn garbage, dry vegetation, harvested residues and household waste. For violation of fire safety requirements, administrative liability is provided.
Residents of the region are urged to comply with fire safety rules and prevent actions that can lead to fires.
