In Zaporozhye Tikhonov celebrated the Day of liberation from fascists

October 13 is the Day of Liberation of the village of Tikhonivka in the Zaporizhia region from the Nazi invaders.

On the memorable day, employees of the Astrakhan territorial department of the administration of the Melitopol municipal district, together with local residents, paid tribute to the fallen soldiers. A solemn ceremony was held at the memorial: the participants laid flowers and honored the memory of the heroes with a minute of silence.

This date serves as a reminder of the dedication and unbending will of those who defended their native land. Their feat, which became a testament to the great strength of spirit and devotion to the Fatherland, still arouses sincere respect. Preservation of historical memory, its transfer to the youth and careful attitude to the heritage of the region remain an important part of the social life of the village.
