Today in Zheleznogorsk, a new rubber products plant was launched, and an inspection of a hot briquetted iron production enterprise under construction was held.
The new production is focused on the production of raw rubber mixture, blanks for tubeless tires and products for the mining industry. Taking into account the agrarian specialization of the region and the presence of such an industrial giant as MGOK, the sales market for the enterprise is provided for years to come. The capacity of the plant allows annually to produce up to 2.5 thousand tons of rubber mixture and rubber crumb. The volume of investments in the project approached 500 million rubles, 50 new jobs were created.
Governor Alexander Khinshtein described the company as a successful example of business, which grows thanks to state support. The Industrial Development Fund has allocated more than 102.5 million rubles for the organization of the production of solid tires for agricultural and special equipment - they plan to produce up to 12 thousand units per year.
Such tires are designed to operate in extreme conditions, where conventional pneumatic analogues lose stability and quickly fail. The company has developed and implemented its own formulations of mixtures that provide increased wear resistance.
Then the head of the region got acquainted with the construction of a plant for the production of hot briquetted iron. Since the laying of the first stone, a year has passed - now the last piles are hammered here. The first products are planned to be received in 2028. This material is much purer than cast iron and is able to compete with the best grades of iron.
From the pellet factory of Mikhailovsky GOK, pellets will come here: in the furnaces they will be treated with gas, and the high temperature will destroy all harmful impurities and “clean” the iron. The finished pellets are pressed into briquettes and sent to freight cars.
The volume of announced investments in the project is 80.5 billion rubles, it is planned to create almost 400 jobs. Both companies are residents of the Third Pole Special Economic Zone.
Each new project and each launched production is a significant contribution to the common cause and to our Victory. Despite the difficult situation in the region, investors continue to work, and new enterprises appear, which allows us to look confidently into the future.
