Today in the village of Inozemtsevo city district Zheleznovodsk held a solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the memorial "Eternal flame". The event is timed to the 83rd anniversary of the end of the battle for the Caucasus.

The head of the resort city Yevgeny Bakulin noted the special significance of this date for the whole country: “It was not just a military operation, but the moment when the enemy’s aggressive plans collapsed.” Today we laid flowers to say thank you to those who did not back down and defended our freedom.

He also stressed that remembering the feat of defenders of the Motherland is the common duty of current generations.

“It is our common duty to remember this feat. Eternal glory to the defenders of the Motherland, concluded Yevgeny Bakulin.

The memory of the fallen heroes was honored with a minute of silence.
