Vasily Ikonnikov again became a senator from the Orel region

The second meeting of the Orel Regional Council of Deputies of the new convocation was held. At it, parliamentarians decided on key personnel appointments.

According to the press service of the regional government, Vasily Ikonnikov was re-elected as a senator from the region by a unanimous decision of deputies. He has represented the Oryol region in the Federation Council since 2016 and is going for a third term.

Also at the meeting, the name of the first deputy chairman of the regional council became known - Mikhail Vdovin, who has held this post since 2011, once again became them.

During the meeting, the deputies formed the composition of committees and commissions, distributed senior positions and discussed the work plan for the next 5 years.

At the end of the meeting, Deputy Ivan Mitin was awarded the medal “For Services to the Orel region” I degree. Governor Andrey Klychkov congratulated the parliamentarians on the start of their work and wished them success in legislative activity.
