“The crown of celibacy” for 100 thousand: in Chuvashia detained the Internet fortune teller

Employees of the criminal investigation of Chuvashia established the identity of the Internet fortune teller, who received from a resident of Novocheboksarsk more than 100 thousand rubles for the promise to rid her of the “crown of celibacy”. This is reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region.

The victim was a 43-year-old woman. After parting with the chosen one in February, she turned to the fortune teller via the Internet. She convinced the client that the reason for the breakup was the alleged “celibacy crown”, which prevents her from organizing her personal life.

For four months, the woman transferred money for various occult procedures. The total amount of payments exceeded 100 thousand rubles. However, relations with the former chosen one have not recovered.

When the man did not return, and the fortune teller herself stopped responding to messages, the woman realized that she was a victim of deception, and went to the police.

The operatives identified the suspect and followed her to Ulyanovsk. She was a 35-year-old woman.

A criminal case was opened against the suspect under Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on fraud. Police are also investigating her possible involvement in other cases of defrauding citizens under the guise of black magic.
