The whole of Yekaterinburg will feel the changes of 19 bus routes on November 1

From November 1, 2026 in Yekaterinburg will change the scheme of movement of 19 bus routes. Innovations are designed to streamline the work of public transport and reduce duplication of routes. The corresponding gross contracts for the maintenance of routes are put up for auction by the Department of Transport and Development of the street and road network of the city administration, the press service of the city administration reports.

When forming new traffic patterns, data from the Transportation Management Center, as well as feedback from residents of Yekaterinburg, were taken into account. A broad discussion of the planned changes took place on September 22: based on the proposals received, the authorities made final adjustments.

How the routes will change:

No. 053: the new route will pass through the streets of Polzunov – Krasnoflottsev – Taganskaya – Frezershchikov – Old Bolsheviks – Avenue of Cosmonauts – Baku Commissars – Kirovgradskaya (stop “Victory Park”).

No. 46: the route will follow the streets of Papanin – Furmanov – Moscow – 17th Mehkolonne. Areas excluded from the scheme will be served by buses No. 12, 45, 51, 59, 62, 87.

No. 50: UrFU stop on Mira Street was added to the scheme.

No. 52: the bus will follow from Ak. Landau to the Southern substation along the streets of S. Deryabina – Repin – Lenin Avenue – March 8 – Selkorovskaya. Routes 47 and 57 will help to compensate for the canceled section.

No. 53: the route will run from the metro "Botanical" by Academician Schwartz - March 8 - Military - Road - Palisade - 2nd Novosibirsk - Umeltsev - Mostovaya - European - 17th Mehkolonne.

No. 55: the route will be extended to North Himmash.

#56: The final stop will change from 7 Keys (Tagil approach) to DMB #9. The bus will go through the streets of Technical – Belyakov – Levanevsky. Maintenance of the former sections will be taken over by buses No. 24, 43, 68, 73.

No. 59: The final stop will be Akademika Landau (instead of the 17th Mehcolon). The track will pass through the streets of Krasnolesye - Wilhelm de Gennin - Academician Sakharov - Ryabinina. Compensatory routes: No. 42, 46, 50, 58.

No. 62: instead of the South Substation, the final stop will be Roshchinskaya. The bus will follow the streets of March 8 – Julius Fuchik – Belinsky – Shcherbakov – Skiers – Roshchinskaya. Traffic in the Academic district will also change: instead of the streets of Ryabinin – Krasnolesye – Wilhelm de Gennin, the bus will go along Ryabinin – Academician Sakharov – Wilhelm de Gennin. Compensate for changes in routes No. 52, 67, 72.

No. 64: movement in both directions is organized along Malyshev Street without stopping at Lenin Avenue. Compensatory routes: Nos. 48, 49, 56, 84.

No. 70: the “loop” on Academician Sakharov Avenue will be canceled. The new route - along the streets of Krasnolesye - Tenistoy - Sukhodolskaya. Compensatory routes: No. 42, 55, 59.

No. 73: the route will pass in the direction of the Sovkhoznaya - the area of the 1st Five-Year Plan - 7 Keys (Tagil approach).

No. 76: the route will be redirected to the stop “Retail Park Solnechny” along the streets of Decembrists – Moscow – Amundsen – Sakharov Avenue – Umeltsev – Maximum – City – Champions – Golden Boulevard – Love – Radiant – Neskuchnaya. Compensatory routes: No. 47, 54, 72, 74.

No. 77: the route will be extended along Vysotsky Street to the KOR stop.

No. 80: the final will change from Victory Park to Brick Factory. The route will go through the streets of the Communist – the 40th anniversary of October – Machine Builders. Compensatory routes: No. 60, 73.

No. 81: the final - "Sunny Retail Park" (instead of "17th Mehcolonne"). After the metro "Chkalovskaya" bus will go through the streets of Shchorsa - Moskovskaya - Patrice Lumumba - Road - Palisade - 2nd Novosibirskaya - Radiant - Champions - Golden Boulevard - Love - Luchista - Neskuchnaya.

No. 83: the route will be extended to the Uraltechgaz stop. Additional flights will also be organized to the Montageniki stop (near house No. 32 on Montazhnikov Street).

No 89: the route will pass through the streets of Okrainnaya – Military – March 8 – Lenin – Karl Liebknecht – Sverdlov – Chelyuskintsev – Luzchikov – Sulimov – Komsomolskaya – Mir – Library – Cherry. Compensating routes: Nos. 31, 35, 36, 50, 51, 54, 77, 81, 83.

No. 98: the drive to North Himmash (Slavyanskaya Street) was canceled. The bus will go through the streets of Dagestan – Engineering – Griboyedov – further along the route. Compensatory routes: No. 55, 78.

Earlier, MK-Ural wrote that Yekaterinburg public transport was replenished with five new buses of large class NefAZ-5299-40-57 – they are already operating on route No. 52. The cars are low-floor, which makes them convenient for disabled passengers and citizens with disabilities. The cabins have climate control, USB charging, as well as information screens: they display the route number, stop list and weather forecast.
