Veterans of hostilities in the Pskov region will be able to quickly receive social benefits

Thanks to changes in legislation that came into force in 2026, retired combat veterans can apply for a set of social services (NSS) in an accelerated manner.
Now you can apply to the Social Fund of Russia (SFR) in the Pskov region within three months from the date of dismissal from service (or from the date of disability, if it is received within a year after dismissal). If this period is observed, the benefits will begin to operate from next month. For example, when applying in October, a citizen will be able to use the services from November.
Previously, by default, veterans were provided with monetary compensation, and in order to switch to natural benefits, they had to apply, and they did not start operating until January 1 of the following year. The new approach significantly reduces the waiting time, explained Dmitry Yakovlev, Deputy Manager of the SFR Division for the Pskov region.
Important conditions:
The accelerated order is available only for combat veterans with disabilities (including volunteer servicemen participating in the SVO).
If you apply after the three-month deadline, the general rules will apply: appeal before October 1, and benefits from January 1 of the next year.
What is included in the NSU: provision of medicines and medical devices, medical food products for disabled children, vouchers to the sanatorium and free travel to the place of treatment and back.
How to apply: through the portal "State Services", personally in the client service of the SFR or in the MFC (you need to have a document with a note of dismissal).
For all questions, you can contact the SFR single contact center at the free number 8-800-100-00-01.
