Vaipam blocked oxygen: in the Ulyanovsk region will ban the sale
In the Ulyanovsk region from March 1, 2027 will introduce a complete ban on the retail sale of vapes

In the Ulyanovsk region from March 1, 2027 will introduce a complete ban on the retail sale of vapes. The relevant law on October 28 was adopted by deputies of the regional Legislative Assembly. Restrictions will apply to electronic nicotine delivery systems, liquids for them and non-nicotine formulations. The law will last for five years, until March 1, 2032.
The initiator of the legislative initiative, Deputy Chairman of the regional Parliament Konstantin Dolgov explained the decision by the need to protect the health of children and adolescents.
“The reason for the restrictions is the priority of the health of children and adolescents over commercial interests: vaping is often the first step to nicotine addiction, so we must fight not with the consequence, but with the cause,” he said.
The effectiveness of the restrictions will be assessed annually. According to the results of the monitoring, the issue of extending the ban or its abolition will be decided. In the future, the restrictions may become indefinite. There is also the possibility of amendments to strengthen the monitoring and accountability of violations.
