Vladikavkaz cleared from 12 natural landfills

In the area of the city Water station in Vladikavkaz eliminated 12 natural landfills. The work was carried out by specialists of the administration of the intra-urban North-Western and Zaterekny districts. 12 full dump trucks of garbage were taken to the city landfill. This was reported in the city administration.

Landfills were formed on sites that are not part of the official waste collection zone. Residents and guests of the city often left there construction and household garbage. Now these territories are cleared and ready for further improvement.

The mayor stressed that the work to restore order in public spaces continues. Particular attention is paid to places of rest near the water and green areas. Specialists regularly check the territories for new foci of clutter.

City services are urging residents not to throw away garbage in undisclosed places. For these purposes, official landfills and sites for large-sized waste are operating. Compliance with simple rules helps to keep the urban environment clean and safe.

Earlier it was reported that volunteers collected on Elbrus 15 tons of garbage.
