Vladimir was in 79th place in the ranking of salaries

The average salary in the region is 79.9 thousand rubles. From the leaders of the list compiled by RIA Rating experts for the first half of 2026, the regional capital lags behind more than 2 times.

When building the rating, analysts relied on three indicators. This is the ratio of salary to fixed consumer set, the average net salary for the month in the first half of 2026 and its change compared to the same period in 2025.

The rapid growth of wages, which was observed in 2023-2024, is gradually fading. In Vladimir, the average salary can buy only 2.93 consumer sets, although in the first six months of 2026 earnings increased by 13.7% compared to the same period last year. For comparison, in Moscow with a salary of 194 thousand rubles available 4.89%.

In the top ten rating in addition to the capital included Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Krasnogorsk, Magadan, Surgut, Odintsovo and Khimki. The leaders are mainly northern cities, as well as Moscow with the nearest suburbs.
