Vladimir Zakutaev appointed head of the EMERCOM of Russia for Chuvashia

From October 12, 2026, Colonel of Internal Service Vladimir Olegovich Zakutaev took office as Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Chuvash Republic. The corresponding Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of October 12 No. 721 entered into force from the date of its signing.

Earlier, on June 30, 2026, he was appointed acting head of the Department.

The key tasks of the new head include organizing work on the prevention and elimination of emergency situations, ensuring fire safety, as well as protecting the population and territories of the Chuvash Republic from natural and man-made threats.
