Vladimir police identified a suspect in the attempted theft

In the duty part of the police department No1 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Vladimir, a local resident appealed: an unknown person broke the window of her private house and fled. The investigative and operational group opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 30 - Part 3 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted theft with illegal penetration into the home).

During the operational-search activities, the police identified and detained a 42-year-old local resident, who had previously been in the field of view of law enforcement officers.

The defendant fully admitted guilt. According to him, in the evening he walked down the street in a state of intoxication. Seeing the gate ajar open, the attacker entered the yard, broke the window and entered the house for the purpose of theft. However, suddenly triggered the alarm disrupted plans: frightened, the man immediately left someone else’s home.

In relation to the repentant attacker, a preventive measure was chosen in the form of a subscription not to leave and proper behavior.
