The authorities of Novosibirsk decided to demolish the problematic high-rise building in 2010

The expert opinion on the unacceptable condition of the brick house was prepared on August 21. At the same time, problems with the construction began a long time ago: the house on Portova, 2 was built to resettle families from the wooden barracks burned in Zaton, but five years after the commissioning, the residents sounded the alarm because of through cracks. In addition, the three-storey stands almost on the edge of the cliff, which is regularly washed away by the waters of the bay, which led to deformation of the foundation and critical defects in the masonry of the bearing walls.

The launched legal mechanism imposes strict obligations on the relevant departments. The administration of the Leninsky district is obliged within 30 days to transfer to the city Department of Construction and Architecture a full technical passport of high-rise buildings, as well as current lists of residents with documents confirming the right of residence. In turn, the Department of Energy and Housing must forward the original expert opinions to the building block of the City Hall within 10 days to form a further action plan.

The deadline for the resettlement of residents of the long-suffering house in the decree is the end of 2038. Such a distant date traditionally causes unrest among owners fearing collapse.

The exact date of dismantling the building officials have not yet called. Citizens who are afraid to stay in the crumbling building, the law allows you to apply to the municipality with an application for temporary housing from the maneuverable fund of the city until the allocation of permanent apartments or payment of monetary compensation.
