The authorities explained why flights between Yaroslavl and Moscow will not be restored

Air traffic between Yaroslavl and Moscow is not yet planned to return. Flights were already launched in October 2024: RusLine Airlines performed them twice a week on 50-seat Bombardier CRJ100/200, and the cost of a one-way ticket began from about 2.1 thousand rubles. However, passenger traffic was insufficient - the actual load of aircraft was only 25-45%, writes 76.ru.

The regional government explained that most passengers preferred to get to the capital by train or car. Therefore, the continuation of flights was refused. The main focus is now on railway communication: since August, two-storey Aurora trains run between Yaroslavl and Moscow, which overcome the route in about 3 hours and 4 minutes.
