Authorities told how Kostroma girls can receive medical care under the program of birth certificates

Residents of the Kostroma region have the right to count on free medical support at each stage of childbearing - this is an opportunity given by the birth certificate program. The relevant information was provided by the office of the Social Fund of Russia in the Kostroma region.

Since the beginning of the year, services provided to 2,300 mothers and 2,500 newborns have received payment for birth certificates. A total of 25 medical organizations for these purposes was transferred about 27 million rubles.

The birth certificate is an electronic document. It is issued when registering for pregnancy at any time, as well as a children's clinic - if the child was registered within the first three months after birth. The document guarantees the baby the necessary dispensary observation during the first year of life. It is significant that birth certificates for children under three months can be obtained by women who have adopted a child.

To issue a certificate, it is enough to present a passport, MHI policy and SNILS. After registration, information about the birth certificate is reflected in the personal account of the future mother on the portal of public services.

The program pays for services provided by compulsory health insurance: childbirth, specialist consultations, screening ultrasound, laboratory tests, as well as preventive examinations of children under one year.

One certificate costs 12 thousand rubles. Of this amount, 4 thousand rubles are intended to pay for services of women's consultation, 6 thousand - for services of the maternity hospital, 2 thousand - for a children's polyclinic conducting preventive examinations of the child. The transfer of funds to the current accounts of medical organizations occurs strictly on the fact of rendering services.
