The union of employees of state institutions in the shopping center "Pershy" on the Day of National Unity organized an exposition "Adzinstvo жд history, culture and right". This exposition combines history, culture and modernity, and also became a platform for a lively dialogue.

The shopping center "Pershy" presents several projects: a photo exhibition reflecting the period of 1939, the exposition of the National Archives with documents and materials of that time, allowing you to touch the primary sources. The book project “Batsikaхshchyn” combines both the presented photographic materials and a much wider body of evidence about those times. The festive atmosphere was complemented by musical numbers, in which the themes of love for their native land, memory of the past and pride for their country sounded in a special way.

Igor Buzovsky, Chairman of the Belarusian Union of Workers of State and Other Institutions, emphasizes that the Day of National Unity should remind society of the need for conscious consolidation:
- This is the time for all industries, structures, trade unions, employees of state and other institutions to once again consolidate, to think about what we are together for. The relevance of the holiday is also associated with the change in the world of global value orientations, where individualist and cosmopolitan approaches are strengthening. It is important to maintain an understanding of why society unites around the state and associates itself with the concept of the people. It is also important to pass on the right values to the next generations so that the personal self is not perceived as an opposition to the general we, so that work remains a fundamental dimension. We need independence because we want to develop and transmit these values.

In today’s world, full of challenges and changes, it is especially important to understand the values that unite society and make it strong. Minister for Taxes and Duties Dmitry Kiyko in his speech touched upon the topic of national unity and historical memory, stressing that the fate of the Belarusian people has developed favorably, and the opportunity was used in full.
- The secret of our unity is that we have common goals and objectives, the minister said. We in our country feel calm, confident and see that the country is developing, and we can enjoy the benefits that the state provides us. The young holiday has deep roots. The historical fate of the Belarusian people is in our favor. We were given a chance. The people took this opportunity to be together and later become the independent sovereign state in which we now live. We have to remember how it all happened, why it developed this way. Our task is to tell this primarily to young people, so that they know what such a holiday is and what it means, and give a correct assessment of historical events.

In the series of public holidays of Belarus, National Unity Day occupies a special place. It is a symbol of historical justice and restoration of the integrity of the country. The significance of this event and its lessons for the present were expressed by the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the House of Representatives on Human Rights, National Relations and Media of the National Assembly of Belarus, Doctor of Military Sciences, Professor Nikolai Buzin:
- National Unity Day is a day of victory for our Belarusian people. Many years ago, in 1939, two halves of a single whole came together. You can talk as much as you like, what it would be, what could have happened, but there would have been no 1939, there would have been no Belarus today. We are the heirs of those who took this first step many years ago. Everything we did today, we did because of them. All that we have today is the result of the unification of our people.
