Nearly 5,000 trees will be pruned in Minsk courtyards by the end of the year

Until the end of 2026, about 5,000 trees will be pruned in the yards of the Belarusian capital. This was reported in the “Minsk urban housing”, writes sb.by.

- Work on pruning of trees and shrubs in courtyard areas is carried out by the organizations serving the local area within the framework of the maintenance of green areas or on the basis of a contract with a contractor, the association recalled. - Professionals are involved as contractors for the care of plant objects in the courtyard areas - as a rule, these are enterprises of Zelenstroy. They own the technology of work, know the characteristics of each breed and will not harm plants.

In the yard areas of houses served by the CPU housing and communal services districts of Minsk, sanitary and rejuvenating pruning of trees and shrubs is carried out.

- This year, experts have already pruned 14.8 thousand trees, – noted in the MYHH.

Specialists drew attention to the fact that the work on pruning trees, shrubs with nests of horned birds located on them in order to regulate their distribution and number is carried out on the basis of the survey act compiled by the commission, created by decision of the local executive and administrative body, in the period from August 15 to February 15.
