In Vladimir will install new road weather stations

In 2027, road weather stations are planned to be placed on two streets of Vladimir. The equipment will appear on the Big Nizhny Novgorod and Dobroselskaya streets. This was reported in the government of the Vladimir region.

The complexes collect data on the weather and condition of the road surface. In particular, they measure temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind speed and direction, record precipitation, the condition of the road surface and the thickness of sediments formed on it.

The information obtained allows the system to predict the traffic situation for the next 15-20 minutes and adjust traffic control in advance. If the equipment fails, traffic lights switch to autonomous mode, and intersections continue to be regulated in the usual way. This helps to avoid serious congestion.
