In the Vladimir region noticed snowmen

This year, red-breasted birds have returned earlier than usual, although they traditionally arrive in late October or early November when the cold sets in. In winter, when food becomes scarce in the forest, the seeds cover the snow, and the kidneys freeze, the snowmen begin to wander and often move closer to people. They can be seen in parks, gardens and feeders. The latest video, shot in the residential sector, was published by a local resident Vlaery Saveliev in the community "Nature of the Vladimir region".
Some birds do come from more northern regions, for example, from the Arkhangelsk and Vologda regions. But many snowmills are local, just in winter they come out of the forest to people. If you want to see these birds more often and help them survive the cold, you can hang a feeder in the yard. Snowgiri willingly eat unroasted sunflower seeds, millet and dried berries.
