Volgograd residents told how to challenge the fine from the traffic camera
Motorists who do not agree with the fine issued on the basis of the data of the traffic camera can appeal the decision. This is given 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy.
One way to file a complaint is to use the Public Services portal. To do this, you need to log in to your personal account, go to the "Payments" section and choose a fine with which the motorist does not agree. The card of the violation will indicate the date and place of its commission, as well as a photo from the camera.
Then you need to click the "Call" button, state the reasons for disagreement with the decision and attach supporting materials. As evidence, photos, videos, eyewitness accounts or data from transport monitoring systems are suitable.
The result of consideration of the appeal will appear in the personal account. The decision is given 10 days.
Where else can I go to appeal the fine
The decision can be challenged directly in the department or court. If we are talking about a traffic violation, the complaint should be sent to the traffic police unit. Fines for improper parking are appealed to local authorities or authorized organizations.
The appeal can be made in free form or use a ready-made sample. The complaint must indicate the addressee, personal and contact details of the applicant, the number and date of the decision, as well as information about the official who made it. In addition, it is necessary to make arguments in favor of the cancellation of the fine and list the attached evidence.
A copy of the decree and materials confirming the position of the motorist should be attached to the document. You can submit a complaint personally through the office of the department or send a registered letter.
The appeal will be considered within 10 days. If the motorist decides to go to court, the proceedings could take up to two months. The answer will be mailed.
