At the regional level, the system continues to evolve. So, in the Volgograd region, the dental service is gradually being modernized: a number of units in the districts of the region have been repaired, including completely updated facilities in the Srednekhtubinsk, Kalachevsky, Gorodischensky, Dubovsky and Svetloyarsk districts. A new dentistry was built and put into operation in the village of Preobrazhenskaya in Kikvidzen district. In 2025, a new, modern dental clinic opened in the Oktyabrsky district after the completion of a large-scale modernization.
In parallel with the repair of premises, training for the industry is underway – in 2025, 20 students were enrolled in the Volgograd State Medical University (VolgSMU) as part of a targeted reception from the region’s health committee in the direction of “Dentistry”. These measures are implemented within the framework of the tasks for the further development of the health care system set by Governor Andrey Bocharov and aimed at increasing the availability of medical services to residents of remote settlements.
