Volgograd residents learned about the indexation of maternity capital in 2027
Next year, the amount of payment provided for the first and second child will exceed the mark of one million rubles.
As Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova told RIA Novosti, from February 1, 2027, a significant event will occur in Russia: the total payment of maternity capital for the first and second children will exceed a million rubles for the first time after the planned indexation.
In addition, on October 13, in the walls of the State Kremlin Palace, as part of the solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the All-Russian contest “Family of the Year”, the winners of a completely new competition, called “Family Capital of Russia”, were announced.
“For the first time maternity capital for the first and second children in 2027 after indexation from February 1, will exceed a million rubles,” said Tatyana Golikova.
According to updated data, next year the amount of maternity capital will be 778 thousand rubles for the first child. If the family has previously received payment for the first child, the second child will be charged an additional 250 thousand rubles.
