Volgograd residents learned about changes in payments of pensions and benefits in November
In November 2026, there will be changes in pensions and child benefits. Certain categories of citizens who have reached the age of 80 will receive increased insurance pensions.
State Duma deputy Kaplan Panesh (LDPR) told RT that the fixed part of the pension for those who turned 80 in October will be doubled. Its size will increase from 9584.69 to 19 169.38 rubles. To this amount will also be added a monthly allowance for care, amounting to 1413.86 rubles, which in the end will bring almost 11 thousand rubles additionally.
The Social Fund will recalculate automatically, without the need to submit applications, since all the necessary information is available. It is important to note that if the fixed payment has already been increased due to the assignment of group I disability, then there will be no re-raise at the age of 80. However, citizens who are first assigned disability group I and have not previously been entitled to a raise will be provided with a double fixed payment and a care allowance.
In addition, in connection with the celebration of National Unity Day, there will be a shift in the schedule for enrolling child benefits. The single allowance for children under 17 years of age and for pregnant women, the allowance for caring for a child up to one and a half years for non-working parents, the payment for the first child up to three years, as well as the allowance for a child of a conscription soldier will be transferred ahead of schedule.
The changes will also affect other payments. The monthly payment from the maternity capital for October is expected on November 5, and the child care allowance for working parents is expected on November 7. Subsequent charges for November will be made in December in accordance with the established procedure.
“There was no mass indexation of all social payments in November – the increase affected only specific categories of pensioners,” said Kaplan Panesh.
