Volgograd practices in the field of social services noted at the all-Russian level
Representatives of the Volgograd region were among the finalists of the XV All-Russian competition of professional skills in the field of social services
As reported in the Committee of social protection of the population of the region, the finals of the competition went to the heads of two social institutions. Larisa Shevchenko, Director of the Zhirnovsk House of Social Services, presented the region in the nomination “The best practice of implementing the principles of lean production”. Elvira Antonova, head of the Kalachev Center for Social Services, became a finalist in the nomination “Stability and Quality” for effective solutions in semi-stationary form of work.
The purpose of the competition is to identify the best specialists in the industry, generalize effective approaches and generally improve the quality of social services. The region traditionally shows strong results: in 2025, Tatiana Pugaeva, director of the social service organization from Kamyshin, took second place in the Stability and Quality nomination.
The system of social support in the Volgograd region continues to develop in accordance with the priorities outlined by the Governor Andrey Bocharov. Today, the industry employs more than 10 thousand specialists, support measures and services receive about 500 thousand residents of the region, and long-term care is organized for more than 11 thousand elderly citizens.
