Volgograd expelled students may be banned from re-entry
The draft order of the Ministry of education published for discussion

The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation has prepared a draft order that may limit the possibilities of expelled students from Volgograd and the region when re-entering. The document was published on the federal portal of draft normative legal acts.
According to the initiative, if a student is expelled as a disciplinary sanction, he can be banned from returning to the same university for five years. At the same time, the ban will only apply to a specific educational organization – it is still possible to apply to other universities.
It is planned to make appropriate changes to the current rules for admission to higher educational institutions. The published draft does not yet specify the date of entry into force of the order, and there is no detail on the categories of students who will be affected in the first place.
