Volgograd students explained the rules of behavior in emergencies
Volgograd College of Mechanical Engineering and Communications held an open lesson on civil defense

Within the walls of the Volgograd College of Mechanical Engineering and Communication named after Hero of the Soviet Union N. Serdyukov, an educational event dedicated to the Day of Civil Defense was held.
The speaker of the meeting was the head of the Department of Supervisory Activities and Preventive Work (OND and PR) for the Kirov, Krasnoarmeysky and Soviet districts of Volgograd, Major of Internal Service Denis Popov.
The main topic of the open lesson was security in modern conditions. In the format of a live conversation, the representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations told about the history of the creation of the civil defense system in Russia and its current tasks to ensure the safety of the population.
The practical part of the lecture was devoted to algorithms of actions in emergency situations. The children were explained in detail the system of warning signals and explained why in any emergency it is critically important to maintain composure, not to give in to panic, trust only official sources and unquestioningly follow the instructions of emergency services.
Such preventive meetings play a crucial role in the formation of a safety culture, helping students to form skills of proper behavior that can save lives in conditions of real danger.
