Volgograd youth are invited to take part in the All-Russian competition
According to the Committee on Labor and Employment of the Volgograd Region, the All-Russian Prize for Youth Achievements “Time of the Young” has been held by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs since 2021. During this time, it became one of the key national awards, which recognize people, teams, organizations and territories that make a significant contribution to the development of youth policy in Russia
Among the awardees annually are the best specialists, management and project teams, public associations, educational organizations, enterprises and municipalities. The range of areas is wide: from volunteering, ecology and agriculture to culture, sports, media, entrepreneurship and civil service.
One of the central nominations is “Youth Capital of Russia”. This is a federal competition aimed at identifying the leading cities in the field of youth policy and forming new centers of attraction for young people in the regions.
The status of “Youth Capital of Russia” turns the city into one of the key platforms for the implementation of federal youth projects. In addition, it allows attracting additional partner and public resources and presenting the best regional practices and opportunities for youth self-realization at the federal level.
Until October 16, 2026, applications for participation in the nomination “Youth Capital of Russia” are open. As part of the competitive selection, participants will demonstrate what results they have achieved in working with young people, what projects and initiatives they are implementing today and what potential they see for the further development of the youth environment. The winner will be determined by the results of the evaluation of the expert jury and the popular vote.
From October 12, 2026, applications for participation in other award nominations will be accepted. This year, the award gathered 28 nominations in 7 thematic blocks – each will find its own category:
“Young creator” – those who build their own business and contribute to the economy;
“Teacher of the young” – those who share knowledge and support the growth of others;
“Event of the Year” and “Place of the Young” are those that create an atmosphere and conditions for self-realization.
