Volodin outraged by the crumbling building of the Faculty of Arts of SSU

In Saratov, the building of the Faculty of Arts of the Pedagogical Institute of Chernyshevsky SSU (Zauloshnov, 5) is being destroyed. The state of the educational building No. 17 drew the attention of the speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin. On Sunday, October 11, said his supporters in the channel “Volodin Saratov” in MAX.

The Russian politician got acquainted with the conditions in which music teachers, choreographers and art critics are trained. The building is in a pre-emergency state: the roof leaks, the basement with the classrooms is flooded. At the same time, the faculty is in demand from applicants. So, the competition for the direction "Choreography" is 15 people per place.

Volodin, addressing the rector of the classical university Alexei Chumachenko, stressed that such an approach to work on the part of the university management is unacceptable. It also turned out that there are no vice-rectors in SSU (despite high salaries) who would deal with the maintenance, repair and construction of buildings.

“Experts can be found here, and they should be. And without this can not do with the presence of such a huge number of buildings and complexes. You need to learn how to prepare project documentation, determine development goals, concluded Volodin.
