Vologda residents can offer ideas for the improvement of the shore of the river Sodema

Residents of Vologda until October 15 can fill out a questionnaire on the improvement of the territory along the Sodema River and get acquainted with the architectural hypothesis of the project group "Sreda".

Within the framework of the program “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment”, the national project “Infrastructure for Life” will put in order the section along the Sodema River, including the coastline from Yaroslavskaya Street to the District Highway. More than 13 thousand Vologda residents voted for this project. Repairs will begin next year.

The project team has prepared a preliminary concept of improvement. At the meeting on September 30, Vologda residents proposed to clean the river, renew bridges, ensure the accessibility of the territory for people with limited mobility, create walking routes and bike paths, crown trees and make landscaping.
