Voronezh residents talk about the closure of the Center for Family Protection and Health and Reproduction

Residents of Voronezh expressed concern over the likely shutdown of the Family Health and Reproduction Center, located at 9 Yuzhno-Moravskaya Street. Citizens do not exclude that from November, this medical institution will cease to accept patients in the format to which they are accustomed.

According to local residents, the center intends to include in the Voronezh Regional Clinical Hospital No. 1. The alleged reason for this reorganization is called the optimization of the healthcare sector.

Patients are concerned that such changes will reduce access to care. If today the center is located on the South Moravian, then after joining the regional hospital, people, in their opinion, will have to go to the reception almost on the outskirts of the city.

Of particular concern are possible queues to doctors. In addition, Voronezh residents fear that after the reorganization they will have to spend much more time on the road to specialists.

The publication “Bloknot” reported that the Ministry of Health noted that joining the regional hospital will not affect the current work of the center. The team will also continue to work in the former composition.
