Voronezh Prosecutor’s office helped a pensioner with diabetes to receive medical care

The regional prosecutor’s office appealed 77-year-old resident of Voronezh, disabled group II. The woman reported problems with obtaining medical care.

Check on the appeal, conducted on the instructions of the Prosecutor of the region Sergey Filipenko, showed that despite the diagnosis of diabetes and issued referrals to a specialist and additional examinations, the patient for a long time could not get to the reception and undergo diagnosis.

Due to the violation of the terms of medical care, a submission was sent to the chief doctor of the medical institution.

After the intervention of the supervisory authority, the pensioner conducted the necessary studies, organized a consultation with a specialized doctor and adjusted treatment.
