Voronezh authorities may postpone the installation of delinators for the metrobus until 2027
Rubber curbs are planned to be placed on the site from the main building of VSU to the monument of Glory and in the opposite direction - a total of 5667 structures

The mayor of Voronezh Sergey Petrin on Monday, October 12, at a hardware meeting said that the timing of the installation of rubber curbs for the metrobus is likely to move to 2027.
According to the head of the city, delinators must be mounted in conjunction with photo and video fixation complexes. However, regional structures do not have time to purchase cameras until the end of 2026.
Therefore, it was about postponing the implementation of these works to 2027 as part of the budget formation. The events will be carried out comprehensively: video surveillance with delinators, Petrin explained.
Rubber curbs are planned to be placed on the site from the main building of VSU to the monument of Glory and in the opposite direction - a total of 5667 structures. Their installation is part of a project to launch a metrobus: a system of dedicated corridors for buses and trolleybuses should speed up the movement of public transport.
However, the implementation of the project faced difficulties. At first, officials could not decide on the type of attachment for delinators, and later the rubber curbs were dismantled from a number of sites - the reason was that bus drivers ran over the structures and damaged them.
At the end of August, the Governor of the Voronezh region Alexander Gusev recommended the mayor’s office to accelerate work on the metrobus project. He noted that by 2027, officials should already take into account errors made at the start in order to quickly eliminate them.
