Voronezh drunkard deprived of the car and sent to paint the fences

In the Kominternovsky district of Voronezh, an 18-year-old local resident was sentenced. The young man was found guilty of driving under the influence of a person who had already been brought to administrative responsibility for such a violation (part 1 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The prosecution in court was supported by a representative of the district prosecutor's office.
As the court established, in May 2026, the young man, being deprived of his driver’s license and previously punished for drunken driving, again sat behind the wheel of the VAZ in a state of intoxication. During the trip, he crashed into a parked Toyota. At the scene of the accident, the traffic police arrived and detained the violator. Medical examination confirmed the presence of alcohol in the body.
The court ordered the offender 200 hours of compulsory work and banned him from engaging in activities related to driving vehicles for two years. The prisoner’s car was confiscated in favor of the state.
