Voronezh region will be covered by thick fog, declared a yellow level of danger

The yellow level of weather danger will be introduced in the Voronezh region due to the expected strong fog. The warning will be valid for 12 hours - from 18:00 Saturday, October 10, to 06:00 Sunday, October 11. This is evidenced by the data of the forecast map of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia.

Visibility on the roads can deteriorate significantly in the evening and at night, as well as in the early morning. In such conditions, drivers are advised to slow down, keep a distance and avoid sharp maneuvers. Pedestrians should be especially careful when crossing the roadway.

In addition to fog, forecasters warned residents of the region about the increased risk of natural fires. The yellow level of danger due to this threat was set for 36 hours - from 18:00 on October 10 to 06:00 Monday, October 12.
