“The IPR can be counted as a certification”: Rosobrnadzor changes the rules
Under the new standard, high school students will study 16 compulsory subjects

Rosobrnadzor is preparing a new version of the resolution, which will clarify how schools and colleges conduct verification work. The main thing is that it will become clearer who exactly writes the VPR, and it will be possible to count them as certification. This was reported to the department.
Now the document clearly states: WPR is written only eyeglasses. But part-time students and those who study in part-time form, schools and colleges will be able to allow or not allow - at their discretion. There will no longer be a hard “everyone writes.”.
The head of Rosobrnadzor, Anzor Muzaev, stressed: “In the USSR and Russia, there have already been experiments with the abolition of control works and exams, which led to the degradation of the education system.” So control remains, but it becomes more meaningful.
In October, studies will be held to check how educational work is organized in schools, as well as the functional and financial literacy of students. “Educational potential” will be assessed in 29 regions, the rest will catch up in 2027-2028. In November, the competence of primary school teachers and teachers of Russian language, mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology will be checked.
Another point: the new edition will not spell out the exact number of items for the IDP. Rosobrnadzor will approve it by its order no later than three months before the start of the school year.
All this comes amid an update to the educational standard for high school students, which will come into force on September 1, 2027. Under the new standard, high school students will study 16 compulsory subjects, and the total number of teaching hours will increase in two years. This could also affect the IPR.
