Doctors from Novocherkassk maternity hospital questioned in the case of the death of 27-year-old mother

In the Novocherkassk city court held a hearing on the case of the death of mother Anna Malova. The defendant is anesthesiologist Mikhail Tsibadze, who is charged with causing death by negligence.

The trial is currently in the stage of questioning witnesses. Testimony has already been given by the victims - Anna's husband Ivan Malov and her father. Employees of the perinatal center also spoke in court, and on October 8, doctors from the Novocherkassk maternity hospital provided their testimony. According to the portal DonDay, experts told the details of the day when the girl came to give birth.

According to Anna's father, new data were announced in court, which sheds light on the circumstances of the incident.

Recall that 27-year-old Anna Malova arrived at the local maternity hospital for childbirth in early April 2026. During contractions, she was injected with anesthesia, after which she fell into a coma. She was urgently hospitalized in the perinatal center, where, despite the best efforts of doctors, she died without regaining consciousness. Relatives of the deceased accuse the anesthesiologist of a possible mistake that could lead to the introduction of the wrong drug into the spinal canal.
