In Stavropol, doctors rescued a 50-year-old man who lost consciousness and hit his head during a wedding celebration. The holiday was attended by doctors of various specialties - including cardiac surgeons, traumatologist and oncologist surgeon.
The first to the victim came anesthesiologist-resuscitator of the City Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medical Care Boris Balayan. The condition of the man was critical: there was no reaction, normal breathing and pulse on the large arteries. The doctor immediately began cardiopulmonary resuscitation, four more colleagues joined him - including two cardiac surgeons, a traumatologist and an oncologist surgeon (he was the groom that day). Doctors worked harmoniously, alternately performing indirect heart massage, ensuring the patency of the respiratory tract and continuing resuscitation.
The ambulance crew arrived at the scene in 8-10 minutes. Resuscitation continued with the use of tracheal defibrillation and intubation. Boris Balayan accompanied the patient in the ambulance and did not stop providing the necessary assistance.
Initially, the man was on artificial ventilation. A few days later, his condition was stabilized. Now the patient is in a clear consciousness and can communicate with loved ones, the Ministry of Health of Stavropol reported.
