According to meteorologists, the main cause of weather disasters will be the active phase of El Niño – anomalous warming of the waters of the Pacific Ocean, which will directly affect the temperature throughout the territory of the Russian Federation.
The most powerful blow of the elements will take on the regions of the Far East. Scientific Director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand warns: Primorye and the Khabarovsk Territory are waiting for record frosts for these latitudes, prolonged blizzards and heavy snowfalls.
