“You are the pride of the district, the city and the country”: teachers of Frunzensky congratulated on Teacher’s Day

In the Youth Pop Theatre, on October 5, teachers of the Frunze district celebrated their professional holiday. With warm words, the Chairman of the Minsk City Council Artem Tsuran, Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly Mikhail Mironchik and the head of the district administration Artem Shegidevich addressed them on this day, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

The head of the administration of the Frunze district A. Shegidevich noted in his congratulations that standing on stage in front of teachers is a great honor, because teaching is not just a profession, but a true vocation and service. To the perpetrators of the celebration, he wished strength, desire to work and create, as well as gratitude for their difficult work on the part of their parents.

- The greatest reward for a teacher is to see the achievements of his students. Let each school, kindergarten and additional education center have smiles and words of gratitude to you, people who invest a part of themselves in each child, the head of Frunzensky addressed the audience.

Ah. Shegidevich also stressed that teachers are the pride of the district, the city and the country, because they create the future of the republic.

The Chairman of the Minsk City Council of Deputies A. Tsuran addressed the teachers with a welcoming speech. The declaration was adopted 60 years ago to draw attention to the work of teachers and the problems they face. In Minsk and Belarus, all conditions for fruitful work have been created for the employees of the education system.

- We invest heavily in maintaining the work of educational institutions, their material and technical equipment, capital and ongoing repairs. All this so that you work comfortably, and our children are trained in safe conditions, he said.

The teachers were also congratulated by the deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly M. Mironchik. Addressing the audience, the parliamentarian emphasized the special role of the teacher in modern society.

- I don’t think we need to convince anyone today that the teacher is the most important figure, the face of modern society. Because without you today there can be no doctor, no builder, no engineer, — said the Deputy.

He noted that teachers, through their daily, complex and multifaceted work, invest in children’s souls all that is necessary for the state and their native city, and thanked the teams for their contribution to the development of the capital’s education.

The continuation of the festive evening was the musical performance of karaoke “Matchmakers” from the artists of the Pop Theatre.
