High-speed Internet connected in 100 villages and villages of Bashkiria

In Bashkortostan, another 100 villages and villages were connected to high-speed Internet. Federal provider Rostelecom laid more than 400 km of optical cable in three months.

Thus, residents of 12512 houses can access the network. The villagers got the opportunity to access the Internet at a speed of 300 Mbit / s and interactive TV. This is made possible by GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) technology with a separate optical line for a home or apartment. The Internet can be used simultaneously on multiple devices without loss of quality.

By the end of the year, the company plans to connect another 49 settlements in the Trans-Urals.
