Yalta deputies adopted a master plan for the development of the city until 2035
The new master plan provides for the construction of kindergartens and schools, the development of transport and engineering infrastructure, as well as the expansion of green areas

The new master plan provides for the construction of kindergartens and schools, the development of transport and engineering infrastructure, as well as the expansion of green areas. This was reported in the Telegram channel Deputy head of the administration of Yalta, acting head of the administration Svetlana Shevchenko.
The general plan was prepared on the basis of the document of 2018, bringing it in line with changes in federal and republican legislation and topical tasks of the city development.
The adjustment was required, in particular, because of the large number of territories with unregulated town-planning status – the so-called “gray zones”. They're not in the new version.
The document provides for the construction of about 23 kindergartens and 10 schools, the development of a transport framework and engineering communications. According to the plan, green areas will increase by 40%, areas for agriculture by 22%, and for resort facilities by 13%. The estimated population of Yalta by 2035 will be up to 142 thousand people.
The general plan was developed by the Institute of Spatial Planning of the Russian Federation subordinate to the Ministry of Construction of Russia. The next stage will be the preparation of master plans for the development of territories and updating the Rules of land use and development.
The document defines general parameters for the development of infrastructure, transport, green and public spaces. If necessary, it will be able to make changes taking into account the development of the city and the emergence of new tasks.
