People with disabilities in Yamal can take part in the All-Russian competition-prize “Limitless opportunities”
People with disabilities in Yamal can take part in the All-Russian competition-prize “Limitless opportunities”. Participants will tell their stories about achievements in different spheres and present various practices, the press service of the governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug reported.
In the track “People without Borders”, the people of Yamal will share stories about overcoming barriers and changing the opinion of others about the opportunities of people with disabilities. Winners will be selected in six categories: “My Way”, “Opening Opportunities”, “Happiness to be Together”, “Voice of Change / Language of Equality”, “Towards the World” and “Dream Without Borders”.
The second track “The Norm of Life” will be attended by teams, organizations, municipalities and regions. They will introduce practices that make inclusion part of everyday life. There are also six nominations for participants.
Applications will be accepted until November 30. The regional selection will be held from December 1 to 20, the federal examination from January to March 2027, and the awarding will take place in April in Moscow. The participants will be evaluated by Diana Gurtskaya, Roman Kostomarov, Sergey Bezrukov, Margarita Simonyan, Oleg Roy and others.
In September, Novy Urengoy hosted the Russian Championship in the sport of the blind and the Russian Cup in sports of persons with musculoskeletal defeat in the discipline of powerlifting. More than 120 athletes from different regions of Russia took part in the tournaments.
