At the bell plant near Tutaev completed work on an unusual evangelist for the Resurrection Cathedral of Suzdal. The bell weighs 3.5 tons, and its main feature was a ribbon of 116 names of servicemen who died during a special military operation. On the surface also placed images of the Savior, the Bogolyubsk Icon of the Mother of God, Prince Andrei Bogolyubsky and Alexander Nevsky.
Production took about three months. Masters used traditional technology dating back to the XVII century: first, a clay form is created, which is covered with numerous layers, then wax elements of the future ornament and inscriptions are applied. After approval of the design, a red-hot metal is poured into the form. Experts note that this technology allows you to achieve a special sound of the bell. Together with the new evangelist, three more bells weighing 800 kg, 1 ton and more than 1.5 tons will be installed on the belfry of the Resurrection Cathedral.
