Young rescuers Mogilev celebrated the 25th anniversary of the movement incendiary flash mob

The courtyard at the Mogilev Regional Center for Life Safety today has turned into a dance floor. Activists of the regional organization of the Belarusian youth public organization of rescuers-firefighters staged a dynamic choreographic flash mob in honor of the landmark anniversary - the 25th anniversary of the founding of their movement, sb.by correspondent reports.

Under the incendiary thematic track, boys and girls staged a bright performance, attracting dozens of glances. The action became part of the republican preventive campaign “Youth for Security!”.

The main characters of the flash mob were members of the top team of the Mogilev region "Extreme 2.0" - schoolchildren aged 12 to 16 years. The regional department, established in 2002, currently unites more than 2,000 young rescuers.

- She was born with the leadership. We are always happy to create together! We did not rehearse for long, time was catastrophically short, but in the end everything worked out. We are young and full of energy, so the gift for the 25th anniversary of BMOSP should have been as bright and creative. I joined the young rescue team two years ago. For me, this is a favorite and really exciting business. I learned discipline, endurance and the ability to work for the result to the very end. Our uniform - branded ties and T-shirts - is very disciplined. It immediately shows that we are one team. It brings us all together and brings us together.

- My journey to the organization began in seventh grade. Then I first went to the city and regional stages of the rally of young rescuers, but as an ordinary schoolboy. All this atmosphere and driving so captured me that I decided to practice professionally and joined the city team. I have been in the ranks of young rescuers for three years. We regularly pump physical training and skills on the basis of fire rescue teams and units. We are also engaged in patriotic education, organize a class cultural program. In those three years, I learned the most important thing: iron discipline. I am very close to the sphere of EMERCOM, so I firmly decided to enter the profile university and connect life with it. I want to be a firefighter. In my family there were no rescuers before, but loved ones fully supported my choice. They're really proud of me.

Behind the children - a strong team and an experienced mentor. Andrey Barashko, head of the Mogilev region team of young rescuers-firefighters "Extreme 2.0" shared his view on youth training. It is attended by 24 schoolchildren from different educational institutions - 12 boys and 12 girls aged 12 to 16 years.

- You need to constantly work with teenagers to really engage them and fall in love with the profession of a rescuer, notes Andrei Alexandrovich. Someone comes to us already motivated, with their ambitions, and someone at first has difficulties. We try to find an approach to everyone, and gradually the children’s eyes light up. The full realization of what they are doing comes after the Republican rally. After two and a half to three months of intensive joint training, they are so united that they return home with one big and friendly family. Of course, career guidance is one of our goals. We want children to enter the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Lyceum at the UGZ or the Electrotechnical College, where a profile direction has opened. But the most important task is to teach the basic rules of life safety not only for the children themselves, but also for their families.

The festive flash mob in Mogilev proved that BMOSP is not boring lectures, but real action, cohesion and readiness to save lives multiplied by pure youth energy. The festive marathon will continue throughout the country. Activists will hold an action “112 good deeds”, visit veterans and elderly people. And the final point of the large-scale anniversary will be a grand republican event on October 16.
