The Chelyabinsk region entered the top ten Russian regions with the largest number of bookings of suburban housing in the summer of 2026. Such data are given by “Travel Avito”.

According to the service, in Russia, the demand for country houses over the summer increased by 14% compared to last year. Most often, such housing was booked in the Moscow and Leningrad regions and Bashkortostan.

The list of popular destinations also included Tatarstan, Dagestan, Chelyabinsk region, Altai Republic, Samara and Orenburg regions. The service recorded the most noticeable increase in the number of reservations in the Nizhny Novgorod region - plus 29% for the year.

The demand for daily apartments in the country for the same period increased by 9%. Among urban destinations, St. Petersburg, Moscow and Kazan were more often chosen.

A separate survey by Unisimka showed that among eSIM users, Kaliningrad became the most desirable destination for future trips, with 13% of respondents citing it. Baikal and the Far East received 9% each. This data refers to the audience of the service itself, not to all Russian travelers.
