In 9 months in the Kursk region completed the investigation of 39 cases of rape

In the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Kursk region, an operational meeting was held under the chairmanship of acting head Nikita Sevostyanov. It summed up the work for 9 months of 2026. The collegium was attended by heads and employees of structural units of the apparatus, as well as heads of district and interdistrict investigative departments.

Since the beginning of the year, investigators have completed investigations into 328 criminal cases. Of these, 33 are about murders and serious harm to health, which led to the death of victims, 39 are about rape.

Particular attention is paid to compensation for damage. In fact, over 156 million rubles were reimbursed for completed cases. The property of the accused was seized in the amount of more than 145 million rubles.

Heads of units of the apparatus made reports on the main areas of activity. They announced the results of the work and measures that will help to improve its quality.

At the end of the meeting, Nikita Sevostyanov outlined the key tasks for the remaining period. Among them are improving the quality of the preliminary investigation and reducing the time of investigation, solving crimes of past years, active work to identify and investigate corruption and economic crimes, as well as organizing effective procedural control.
