In the course were not only fists, but also a belt, a rod, a hammer, a nail-thrower and a knife. The child constantly walked with bruises and scratches. In winter, his stepmother drove him outside without warm clothes and forced him to sit in a dog kennel.
At the trial, the defendant stated that she acted solely for the sake of upbringing - she punished for unlearned lessons, bad behavior, disobedience and lies. She put the boy on his knees on buckwheat and poured hot water. At home, the child was almost not fed: he ate at school or at the neighbors. If he took food without permission, the drunk stepmother would beat him. In November 2025, she hit her stepson with a nail-thrower on her right arm, causing a closed fracture - a health hazard of moderate severity.
After that, teachers reported to law enforcement agencies. The boy’s father knew about what was happening and supported his wife in the methods of upbringing, for which he was repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility.
The court found the woman guilty under paragraph 2 of article 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (torture of a minor with special cruelty) and paragraph 2 of article 112 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of moderate harm to health with the use of an object as a weapon). She was sentenced to 4 years 6 months in prison in a general regime colony. In addition, the convict is obliged to pay the injured child 800,000 rubles in compensation. The sentence has entered into force.
