The main task of road workers is the removal of fallen leaves from the roadway, bicycle paths and sidewalks. Gardeners clear crowns, cut hedges, remove threat trees and plant new ones. So, in the Northern capital from 1 to 8 October already appeared more than a thousand trees and shrubs.
All committees are preparing for a citywide Saturday. On October 10, the Improvement Committee will go to the Sestroretsk spill area together with Rosleskhoz, the All-Russian Society for Nature Protection, the administration of the Resort District and volunteers. They will remove the rubbish that was left there after the tourist season.
